GS칼텍스 마음씨학교 프로젝트의 작업물입니다. 일 년간 함께 작업한 마음씨학교시리즈는 초등학교, 중학교 학생들의 우울증 및 자살을 예방하는 프로젝트입니다.
그중 첫 번째 프로젝트였던 마음씨 친구들 만들기입니다. 초등학생 아이들의 고민과 걱정을 치료해 주며 함께 상 상한 친구들의 스케치와 아이디어를 토대로, 일러스트 캐릭터를 완성했습니다. 아이들의 기발한 상상에서 나온 캐릭터 초안에는 달달한 사탕을 나눠주는 <나눔이>, 비밀을 들어주는 곰인형 <갤 럭시>, 머리가 하트 모양인 <하트링>, 마법 구름 담요로 마음을 녹여주는 <구름몽>, 모든 걱정과 고민을 먹어치우는 <호키포키>까지 있습니다. 이 캐릭 터들로 엽서와 굿즈를 만들었습니다.

This is a project from GS Caltex’s Maumsci School. The Maumsci School series, which we worked on together for a year, is aimed at preventing depression and suicide among elementary and middle school students.
The first project in the series was creating “Maumsci Friends.” Based on sketches and ideas imagined together with elementary school children, who shared their worries and concerns, we completed a set of illustrated characters.
The character drafts, born from the children’s imaginative ideas, include <Nanumi>, who shares sweet candies; <Galaxy>, a teddy bear who listens to secrets; <Heartling>, with a heart-shaped head; <Gureummong>, who melts hearts with a magical cloud blanket; and<Hokipoki>, who eats up all worries and troubles. These characters were used to create postcards and various merchandise.
