3355콜렉티브와 실종아동찾기협회가 함께한 당연하지 않은 저녁식사(A Seat at the Table)’의 디자인에 참여했습니다.
가족의 달인 5월의 마지막 날 서울 관악구 서울대학교 미술관에서 ‘당연하지 않은 저녁식사’ 행사를 진행습니다.
누군가에게 당연한 저녁식사가 실종아동에게는 그렇지 않다는 메세지를 보내는, 1시간에 걸친 디너 퍼포먼스로 식사의 메뉴는 실종아동 가족과 논의해 선정했습니다.
기획 단계부터 함께해 초대장, 인쇄물 등의 디자인을 작업했습니다.
키 비주얼은 식사에서 느껴질 희미한 빛과 흐릿한 실체를 상징할 수 있는 블러와 컷아웃을 선정했습니다.
짙은 그리움과 아픔이 더 이상 반복되지 않고 장기 실종에 더 많은 사람들이 관심을 가졌으면 좋겠다는 마음으로 프로젝트에 임했습니다.
하루 빨리 집으로 돌아와 함께 식사할 수 있는 날을 간절히 소망해 봅니다.

I participated in the design for “A Seat at the Table,” a project organized by 3355 Collective and the Korea Association for Missing Children.
On the last day of May, which is Family Month in Korea, the event “A Seat at the Table” was held at the Seoul National University Museum of Art in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.
The event was a one-hour dinner performance delivering the message that while dinner may be taken for granted by some, it is not guaranteed for missing children.
The menu for the meal was chosen in consultation with the families of missing children.
I was involved from the planning stage and worked on the design of invitations and printed materials.
For the key visual, I used blurred and cut-out effects to symbolize the faint light and indistinct presence felt at the dinner.
I approached the project with the hope that the deep longing and pain of these families would not be repeated, and that more people would become aware of long-term missing children.
Above all, I sincerely wish for the day when they can return home and share a meal together.
