안산 아트북마켓 ‘일상을 구하는 사소한 것들’ 프로젝트 기획과 디자인에 참여했습니다. 성황리에 마친 <안산 아트북마켓 ‘일상을 구하는 사소한 것들>을 소개합니다.

안산이라는 도시로 스튜디오를 옮기고, 많은 로컬 플레이어들을 만나며 함께 성장하고 있습니다. 그중 상반기 동안 로컬 브랜드 & 플레이어와 가장 공들여 준비한 이벤트가 바로 북마켓입니다.

이번 마켓이 열린 시흥의 어흥당에는 매년 봄, 이제는 도시에서 찾기 어려운 제비가 나타나 둥지를 틉니다. 그 신호가 지극히 일상적이지만 또 설레고 신난다고 말했던 어흥당 주인 우진 대표님의 이야기에서 디자인 콘셉트가 시작됐습니다.

우리의 삶을 유지시켜 주는 작은 행복과 일상적인 것들을 발견하고자 마련한 북마켓입니다. 어떤 프로그램을 기획해야 오는 사람들에게 일상의 즐거움을 제공할 수 있을까?

‘모래’(@morae_cultures), ‘Studio7kg’(@studio7kg), ‘어흥당’(@uhheung.dang)이 함께 고민했습니다. 또, 독자들을 만나기 위해 가깝고 먼 곳에서 책과 꽃, 이야기와 디저트를 들고 와 주신 참여 셀러분들께 다시 한번 정말 감사드립니다.

We had the pleasure of leading the planning and design for the <Ansan Art Book Market: Little Things That Save Our Everyday Lives> We’d like to share a glimpse of this special event, which came to a wonderful close.

Since moving our studio to Ansan, we’ve had the opportunity to meet inspiring local creators and grow alongside the community. Among the many collaborations we’ve worked on this year, this book market was one of the projects we dedicated the most care and time to.

The event took place at Uhheungdang in Siheung, where swallows return every spring to build their nests—a sight that has become rare in cities today. Hearing the owner, Woojin, describe how this small, familiar moment still fills him with excitement became the starting point for the visual concept and identity of the project.

The book market was created to celebrate the small joys and ordinary moments that quietly sustain our daily lives. We kept asking ourselves: What kind of experience could remind people of the simple pleasures found in everyday life?

‘Morae’ (@morae_cultures), ‘Studio7kg’ (@studio7kg), and ‘Uhheungdang’ (@uhheung.dang) pondered this together. Finally, we’d like to sincerely thank all the participating sellers who brought books, flowers, stories, and desserts from both near and far to meet the readers.
